A card game for schools and at home to reinforce understanding of equivalent fractions, factors and multiples.
Fractics comes in two formats:
a class set of 10 packs of cards, each packed in a robust case and stored in a storage box. Also included is a CDRom with rules, activity sheets, additional support material and answers.

Fractics consists of two different games, one where players use the cards to build their target equivalent fractions and the other where they combine cards to make the target fractions by adding and subtracting fractions. Players automatically improve their times tables, knowledge of factors and multiples and boost confidence in dealing with all types of fractions. The game is designed to provide an alternative and creative way to learn about fractions.
Suitable for (NC) levels 3 - 8. At the lower level unitary fractions are used, while at higher levels improper fractions are introduced and players will begin to develop their own sophisticated tactics.
